I would like to take the time, to thank the Athletic Institute of Medicine, most importantly, Dr. Thomas Wall and his staff for helping me through the Regenerative Medicine Techniques, for my ailing knee. I was destined to have my knee scoped for an interior meniscus tear. I reached out to Doctor Wall and was introduced to another option that would not require surgery.
Please keep in mind that I was having trouble walking, biking and maintaining my daily routine, due to the pain that I was experiencing in my right knee.
The procedure was painless (4 knee injections) and the therapy sessions helped with my recovery.
In April of 2020, I was unable to hike and bike on a daily basis. In September of 2020 I was at the Grand Canyon North Rim, and getting ready to hike The Kaibab Trail. This is a very strenuous and physically challenging hike. I had my doubts about being able to make the trek.
I was able to complete the hike, with no pain or issues in my knee.
This was a major milestone for me, not only physically, but mentally also. I can attribute my success, again to Dr. Tom and his therapy staff.
Extremely professional and caring throughout the process. The follow up calls to see how I was progressing made me feel like I was not just another folder in the file.
Thanks for helping me get back to where I need to be.
